The building “Bolo di Batrei” (“Wedding Cake”) was built in 1916 by
Henri Da Costa Gomez.
It was designed by a well-known Curaçao
architect Morris Cardoze. It is said to be a replica of the building
of the Spanish Embassy in Caracas by that time. It has beautifully
painted ceilings.
